Mobile bike repair is a free service offered to kids at all Tucson SRTS partner schools and is available to additional area schools upon request.
Most bike repair events take place directly after the school day, or can be paired with a special school or community activity. We prepare a promotional flyer, customized to the school and event, ready for you to print and distribute in advance so kids know when to bring bikes.
Trained mechanics provide materials/parts, expertise, and basic mechanic instruction to participants. Kids leave bike repairs knowing how to fix a flat, clean their chains, and more!
