Mission View Elementary

SRTS programming at Mission View Elementary has been a fantastic partnership with their after school program and a team of amazing teachers and community leaders. Our team includes current and former Mission View teachers, and staff from Living Streets Alliance, bringing weekly bicycle rides for students. For the  2024-2025 bike club sessions, students have been enjoying Fix-A-Flat workshops, skills drills on the school’s blacktop, and community bike rides to places like the park at House of Neighborly Services.

In the Fall of 2024, Living Streets Alliance partnered with the Mission View Elementary to host a Cyclovia Hub. At this Hub we hosted an Indigenous Art Mart in partnership with Lucky Salway of True Descendants and Louis David Valenzuela, plus health resources from Arizona Complete Health and performances from both Ballet Folklorico Tapatio and Mariachi Atzlan from Pueblo High School. Students and families of Mission View got to enjoy a beautiful day of art, dancing, performances, and biking and walking in the streets.
