Kellond Elementary students are invited to get their wheels turning during the school’s September 22nd bike repair event! Scheduled just before the WALKtober walk and bike to school challenge, kids are encouraged to bring in their bikes for a fix or tune-up. Get set to ride into the winter months!
During the bike repair event, trained bicycle mechanics will change tubes, adjust seats, fix chains, replace worn tires, and more. Kids will learn basic maintenance skills as bikes are repaired after school. Parents are welcome to join the group and brush up on repair skills too.
The Kellond Bike Repair event is free and open to all Kellond students. To register, simply complete the event permission slip (sent home with every student the week of September 12th) and return it to Kellond Elementary by Friday, September 16th.
